The transformation of this period property beautifully balances its historic charm with modern living requirements. Through strategic structural alterations and the incorporation of luxurious bespoke features, the home now offers a stunning, functional, and inviting environment for an adult family to enjoy for years to come.
To begin, we undertook significant structural changes to open the property’s interior. The reconfiguration involved removing some internal walls to create a more open and fluid living space. This not only improved the flow between rooms but also maximized the use of natural light throughout the home.
A key feature of the renovation was the installation of new bifold doors in both the kitchen and living room.
The centrepiece of the home is a bespoke, contemporary-style kitchen. This sleek and sophisticated kitchen features uninterrupted lines and a seamless design in rich grounded corpse green. The result is a bright and airy open-plan space that provides a serene setting for cooking and entertaining.
Incorporating touches of luxury, we designed a bespoke gin drinks cabinet to fit perfectly within the existing room. This elegant feature adds a sophisticated flair to the kitchen. Additionally, a wine lover corner was created, complete with a wine cooler, built-in marble worktops, and antique mirrors. These elements combine to offer a refined and stylish space.
The renovated kitchen and living areas now provide a spectacular setting for cooking, dining, entertaining, and relaxation. The thoughtful design ensures that each activity can be enjoyed to the fullest, whether it be a quiet family dinner or a lively gathering with friends.
The addition of a new, inviting WC for guests and a bespoke utility room that flows seamlessly from the kitchen further enhances the functionality of the home. These spaces are designed to be practical yet stylish, ensuring that every aspect of the property meets the family’s needs.
